At OneHome, we believe in putting health first, and we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our team as Home Health Occupational Therapy Assistants. In this role, you’ll support our Occupational Therapists by assisting with client care and treatment programs, all while working in a nurturing home health care environment.
Your Role: Make a Difference Every Day
As an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA), you will:
- Assist Occupational Therapists with client-related activities and delegated procedures.
- Administer treatment programs in accordance with the Plan of Care.
- Teach clients activities of daily living and provide training on the use of adaptive equipment.
- Observe, record, and report client conditions and responses to treatment.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
What You Bring: Required Qualifications
- Current licensure in the State of Florida.
- CPR and OSHA certifications.
- Certificates in HIV/AIDS, HIPAA, Alzheimer's, Medical Errors, and Domestic Violence.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience supporting individuals with disabilities or mental health challenges.
- A valid in-state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
This role involves patient-facing responsibilities and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
Work Schedule and Compensation
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 1
Pay Range: $58,400 - $80,000 per year. This range reflects a good faith estimate for full-time employment and may vary based on location and individual qualifications.
