Details: The CNC Machine Set-up Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machining centers to manufacture precision components for product lines. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and quality control standards to ensure efficient and accurate production.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce parts to specification.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
- Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials.
- Adjust machine settings and offsets to maintain tolerances and part quality.
- Perform first-article and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Collaborate with engineers and programmers to optimize machining processes.
- Maintain equipment through routine cleaning and minor maintenance.
- Document production data and inspection results accurately.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
