Maintenance Technician
A forward-thinking producer and distributor of premium frozen desserts, including artisanal ice creams, refreshing sorbets, creamy yogurts, and other gourmet treats.
Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency. This role requires a proactive approach to prevent downtime and enhance the overall operational capabilities of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues in production equipment.
- Maintain and repair pneumatic systems and components, including air cylinders and pumps.
- Order and replace parts as needed to minimize downtime.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and parts inventory.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of machinery and equipment.
- Experience in ordering parts and managing inventory for maintenance needs.
- Hands-on experience in a production environment with a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Benefits
Annual base salary: $70,000 - $90,000
