Revology Cars is hiring an experienced Upholstery Technician to build and install world-class, premium-quality convertible tops for its reproduction 1960s Mustangs.
PAY AND BENEFITS
- An upholstery technician at Revology Cars will make between $54,080-$72,800 per year, depending on their skills and experience.
- This is not a flat rate job. The pay is stable, and you don't have to worry about not being assigned enough hours.
- The work week is 6:45 am to 3:15 pm Monday through Friday.
- We offer company-sponsored medical, dental, and vision coverage, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
- 80 hours paid time off (PTO) starts accruing immediately after hire, and new hires are eligible for holiday pay after only 90 days.
- All full-time employees are eligible for our 401(k) with up to 4% company match after only 180 days.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Upholstery technicians at Revology Cars create world-class premium interiors for 1960s Mustang automobiles.
- The upholstery department cuts, sews, and fits leather seat upholstery, trims seats, and wraps interior trim panels in leather and vinyl.
- Some upholstery techs also install carpet, interior trim panels, and/or convertible tops.
- We use premium OEM materials, including Nappa leather from Mercedes, Porsche, Ferrari, and Rolls-Royce, and 100% wool square weave carpet.

REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of five (5) years of upholstery experience.
- Capable of taking patterns and making templates from scratch.
- Capable of using single and double needle machines.
- Capable of inspecting hides and knowledge of common defects.
- Capable of solving problems.
- Experienced machine operator.
- Ability and willingness to learn and follow safety rules and procedures.
- Ability to perform manual labor, standing and walking much of the time, and with a certain amount of manual dexterity (the ability to pick up, handle, and manipulate tools, parts, and/or materials quickly and accurately).
- Ability to maneuver into, around, and about vehicles or components on an assembly line. Tasks may require a certain amount of reaching, twisting, and bending.
- Ability to learn, remember, and maintain pace of steps involved in performing a job after instruction, training, and familiarization with the tasks.
- Ability and willingness to understand and follow instructions, both verbal and written.
- Ability to perceive differences in very specific details when inspecting parts or work performed, checking for defects or quality issues, or when distinguishing various parts/components by identification number or code.
- Ability and willingness to work in a team environment, including helping co-workers, maintaining, and promoting a safe work environment, treating co-workers with dignity and respect regardless of personal differences, and accepting and following instructions and requests from leadership.
- Preferred candidates will have experience installing and adjusting convertible tops.
- Able to plan, organize, and manage work effectively.
- Ability and willingness to follow work instructions and do things the same way, to the same high standard of quality, every time.
- All positions require familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to use, or willingness to learn how to use, an iPad.
