This is a flexible hourly position at our award-winning Holiday Inn Express Orlando, Florida. This is a full-time position.
BASIC PURPOSE: Perform basic duties of engineering, repair and maintenance as directed by Supervisor and other hotel staff in guestrooms and all other hotel areas as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Assist the Manager as needed. (10%)
2. Perform work orders; monitor progress and results. (55%)
3. Perform special projects. (20%)
4. Perform and report on the energy conservation program. (0%)
5. Work on all life/safety systems including fire, elevators, disasters and emergency lighting and generating systems. (10%)
6. Maintain all motors and control circuits. (0%)
7. Arrange for proper trash removal and recycling. (1%)
8. Purchase equipment and supplies. Maintain pars. (0%)
9. Maintain audio system within the hotel. (1%)
