We are looking for a highly skilled sculptor with extensive experience carving and shaping plaster or other modern cement materials. Our Sculptor / Plaster Qualifier will:
- Instill trust and build strong relationships across our project teams, which consist of theme park engineers, project managers, art directors, vendors, and subcontractors as well as internal leadership and tradespeople.
- Identify and equip our talent with the latest plaster carving techniques, skills, and materials to safely and efficiently meet the specifications of our clients’ designs.
- Provide trade expertise across project phases, from preconstruction estimation and hazard analysis to project completion.
- Roll up their sleeves to transform plaster and epoxy materials into a variety of finishes, such as faux wood, rockwork, architectural details, and characters with realistic facial features.
****This position will be required to attain the designation of "Disney Qualifier" within 3 months of hire. This process may include a series of timed mockups and evaluations from client art directors.****

Minimum Qualifications:
- 10 + years of plaster / carver experience
- 4 + years of construction supervisory experience
- Qualifier designation or related endorsement by one or more reputable art director within the theme park industry – REFERENCE REQUIRED
- Prior experience facilitating trades-based training to a group
- Comfortable working from heights, especially from scaffolding and aerial lifts
- Ability to work primarily nights 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Completion of 5-panel drug test and 3-year MVR history evaluation
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification
- Aerial Lift Certification
- Competent Persons Scaffolding Certification
- Project Management Certification or similar experience demonstrating the ability to manage resources to accomplish time-sensitive projects
