Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Speech Language Pathology opportunity is available within a K12 school setting in Cape Coral, FL, offering a contract assignment for the current school year. The role focuses on delivering speech-language services across multiple school sites, primarily serving students in the East Zone, including the Lehigh Acres area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language evaluations, therapy, and support to students with communication disorders across varied age groups in K12 education.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Participate in professional development and team meetings to enhance service delivery.
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, when applicable, ensuring quality care.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
- Valid Florida teaching certification and/or license in speech-language pathology.
- Credentials such as the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship status (SLP-CF) are necessary.
- Experience with K12 populations is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
- Ability to work full-time hours (approximately 37.5 hours per week) with potential for part-time flexibility.
Location and Schedule:
- On-site position based in Cape Coral, Florida.
- Contract duration: January 5, 2026, through June 1, 2026.
- Positions available at multiple school locations within the district.
