Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available in Pompano Beach, FL, serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract position begins ASAP and continues through the end of the school year, offering a diverse and rewarding caseload across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for students across K-12.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and administrators to develop effective intervention plans.
- Supporting students academic, social, and emotional development.
- Providing counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to individualized education programs (IEPs).
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with a broad age range, from early childhood through high school.
- Knowledge of psychological testing, behavioral assessments, and intervention strategies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload efficiently.
