About the Shop:
We’re a punk rock, apocalyptic themed vintage clothing store that’s been in business for 10+ years. This isn’t a sit behind the counter job, it’s hands on, fast moving, and creative. We love what we do, and we’re looking for someone with the same energy.
The Role:
Two days a week (Tuesday & Thursday, 12:30–6:15 PM)
$15/hour + weekly performance bonus (see below).
Duties Include:
- Opening and closing the shop using our detailed checklists
- Running sales through the Square POS and Quail system (shop vs. vendor sales)
- Maintaining floor displays, dressing rooms, and cleanliness standards
- Monitoring for theft and ensuring shop security
- Greeting customers and representing the Trashé brand with personality
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Is very punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Cares about presentation, order, and accuracy
- Is comfortable in a punk/goth/vintage environment
- Can follow clear instructions without cutting corners
- Bonus points if you can sew and have experience with retail merchandising
- Can create awesome content for social media
Compensation:
$15/hr + $40 weekly bonus for perfect performance (on-time arrivals, correct POS entries, full checklist completion, and zero incidents). The bonus is earned — not guaranteed.
Please Note:
This position begins as a trial hire during a 90-day evaluation period. We’re looking for the right fit, not just a warm body. During this time, both you and the shop will get a feel for whether it’s a good match. Consistency, accountability, and attention to detail matter more than speed. If it’s a mutual fit after the trial, the position becomes permanent with continued bonus opportunities.
