We are looking for an experienced Forklift Mechanic to join our team! This is a full-time position offering steady weekday hours and the opportunity to work directly with customers to keep their material-handling equipment in top condition.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and safety inspections.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems to identify root causes.
- Complete service reports and submit documentation to the supervisor.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding diagnoses, repairs performed, and recommended maintenance.
- Travel to client sites as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a forklift or heavy equipment mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Must provide your own basic tool set.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to explain technical issues clearly.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) communication is highly desired.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
