Location: Radiology of Florida
Compensation: $35 - $40/hour
Radiology of Florida is seeking an experienced CT Radiologic Technologist to join our growing imaging center. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in CT imaging and a commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience. Key Responsibilities
Imaging Expertise:
- Perform high-quality CT scans using a GE660 64-slice machine with an auto-injector.
- Ensure accurate imaging protocols and adherence to safety standards.
Growth & Staff Support:
- Assist with interviewing and onboarding additional imaging technologists.
- Provide in-service training sessions focused on safety, compliance, and patient satisfaction.
Operational Excellence:
- Help design an imaging schedule to maximize equipment utilization.
- Collaborate with referring physicians to ensure their imaging requirements are met.
- Work closely with the radiologist for timely and accurate image interpretations.
Patient Experience:
- Promote a positive and compassionate environment for patients throughout the imaging process.
- Educate patients on procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort during scans.
Compliance & Equipment Management:
- Support compliance requirements and work productively with the equipment supplier (GE) and maintenance provider (626).
- Effectively utilize PACS systems to store, access, and share imaging data.
Billing & Administrative Support:
- Collaborate with billing staff to ensure accurate and timely billing for services rendered.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a CT Radiologic Technologist.
Certification: Must hold R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) certification.
Technical Skills: Proficient in operating the GE660 64-slice machine with an auto-injector.
Work Hours: Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
Strong understanding of compliance and safety protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
