Job Description
As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the quality and safety of our liquid supplement products. Your primary responsibilities will include inspecting, testing, and documenting product quality throughout the manufacturing process. You'll work closely with the production team to identify and resolve any quality issues, ensuring that our products meet the highest industry standards. Compensation based on experience, $18-21 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine quality control checks during the manufacturing process to maintain product integrity.
- Inspect and test raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products for quality and compliance with established standards.
- Record and report any non-conformance or deviations from quality specifications.
- Collaborate with the production team to address and resolve quality concerns, ensuring product consistency and safety.
- Assist in developing and revising quality control procedures and documentation.
- Participate in the investigation of product complaints and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities and results.
- Contribute to a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Comply with all relevant quality and safety regulations and standards, including cGMPs.
- Perform additional related tasks as necessary.
Work Schedule & Hours
- Standard work hours include Monday to Friday from 8am-5:00pm, with ability to work overtime based on need
Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Background in supplements or pharmaceuticals preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining product quality.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with cGMP standards and quality control procedures.
- Knowledge of relevant laboratory equipment and testing methods.
- Ability to perform basic math and record-keeping accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to quality improvement.
