We are seeking a reliable Janitor / Facilities Cleaner who will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout the manufacturing facility. This role helps ensure a clean working environment that meets safety, health, and company standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean production areas, offices, break rooms, and restrooms
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors, including industrial surfaces
- Empty trash, scrap, and recycling containers
- Clean machinery exteriors and surrounding work areas (non-operational)
- Refill soap, paper towels, and other supplies
- Follow safety procedures and use proper cleaning chemicals
- Report safety hazards, spills, or maintenance issues
- Support compliance with OSHA and facility safety standards
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning tools and chemicals
- Ability to follow safety rules and wear PPE
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Dependable and detail-oriented
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing plant or warehouse
- Exposure to noise, dust, and industrial equipment
