Job Overview
The Fitness Room Lead is responsible for the daily coordination and oversight of the fitness training space, including equipment readiness, class facilitation, instructor support, and member experience. This role serves as a leadership point of contact for instructors and ensures a consistent, high-quality fitness environment aligned with the studio’s standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in teaching and/or observing classes to maintain hands-on involvement in programming
- Assist with sub management, including maintaining an active on-call presence five days a week.
- Lead workshops and continuing education sessions to elevate teacher performance and knowledge.
- Monitors participants for safety by way of sequencing, posture modifications and instruction as needed.
- Assist in promoting Trufusion related classes and events through engagement with members.
- Maintain at least one permanent class on the weekly schedule.
- Monitor class attendance and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize scheduling
- Maintain current certifications and adhere to studio standards and policies.
- Follow all sanitation protocols and health regulations to ensure a safe environment.
- Ensure that best practices and safety procedures are performed as required.
Support for Daily Operations
- Attend and contribute to bi-weekly or monthly team meetings with leads, studio management, and regional/national directors
- Support the Studio Director in maintaining operational efficiency and upholding TruFusion’s values.
- Report any member conflicts/issues to studio General Manager/ Assistant General Manager.
- Monitor and report any facility maintenance or repair needs to management.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to take direction, constructive feedback-evaluations work independently, or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Experience & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Group Fitness Certification (e.g., ACE, AFAA, NASM, ISSA) preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of group instruction experience preferred
- CPR/AED certification preferred or required per local/state regulation.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Requires standing, bending, and moving for extended periods.
- Studio-based setting with music and ambient lighting.
- Ability to lift and carry yoga equipment and supplies
- Ability to work in warm and humid conditions, especially during heated yoga classes.
