Title: Director - Residential Shell Construction
Location: Southwest Florida

Role Overview

We're seeking a seasoned Construction Director with strong experience in residential and multi-family shell/site development. This person will oversee full project delivery from grading through final hardscape, ensuring projects are executed on time, on budget, and at the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all phases of shell/site construction: grading, excavation, foundation/slab prep, drainage, erosion control, hardscapes, landscaping, and irrigation.
Manage project schedules, budgets, inspections, and subcontractor/vendor relationships.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, permitting, and safety requirements.
Oversee quality assurance and risk management across multiple projects simultaneously.
Drive efficiency by improving processes, communication, and project management workflows.
Act as a senior leader and key decision-maker for residential development operations.

Qualifications

8-10+ years' experience in residential or multi-family shell/site construction management.
Strong background coordinating excavation, foundation, drainage, sidewalks, and landscaping.
Proven ability to deliver large-scale residential development projects in Florida.
Excellent leadership and communication skills; able to manage teams and subcontractors effectively.
Proficiency in project management tools (Procore, MS Project, Excel, or similar).
