Your Role
As a Phlebotomist at the University of Miami, you will be the face of our company, delivering exceptional customer service while performing skilled blood specimen collections. This role offers you the chance to grow professionally in a supportive healthcare environment.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM with rotating weekends
Work Location
1400 NW 12th Ave - Miami, FL

Your Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
- Accurately enter patient information and process billing
- Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Deliver superior customer service to all patients
- Handle administrative and clerical duties as needed
- Travel to additional sites when required
What We’re Looking For
To ensure the safety of our patients, this position requires successful completion of medical surveillance testing as part of the post-offer onboarding process.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record (if applicable)
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
