Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school within Lake County, Florida, serving PreK through 2nd-grade students. This contract role is onsite at an early learning and literacy center in Leesburg, FL, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through May 29, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to students in PreK to 2nd grade.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement therapy plans.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to support student communication development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with early childhood and elementary school-age children.
- Strong skills in speech and language evaluation and intervention.
- Ability to work effectively in educational settings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Location:
- Onsite at an early learning center in Leesburg, FL.
Schedule:
- Full-time, approximately 37.5 hours per week (8 hours daily with 30 minutes unpaid break).
