Pride Health is hiring a “Phlebotomist I” to support our client’s medical facility-based Margate FL 33063. This is a 3-4 months assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Position Name: Phlebotomist I
Pay rate: $17.75/hr -$19.75/hr
Location: Margate FL 33063
Duration: 4 months contract with possible extension
Shift: M-F 6am to 330pm
Rotating Saturdays 630am to 1130 am at Tamarac
Job Description:
Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company, interacting directly with patients for routine health visits and critical health decisions. This role involves:
· Drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for laboratory testing.
· Ensuring safety, accuracy, and professionalism in every patient interaction.
· Creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence by clearly explaining procedures.
· Following established procedures, confidentiality policies, and process excellence standards.
· Working at doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations based on business needs.
Experience:
· 6 months of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections).
· 2+ years in a Patient Service Center environment (Preferred).
· Customer service experience in a retail or service setting (Preferred).
· Keyboarding/data entry experience (Preferred).
