Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant with experience in complex commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will possess strong calendaring, document management, and communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint. This role supports a busy litigation practice and requires the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate scheduling, calendar management, and court deadlines

Perform accurate and timely time entry and data input

Draft and format legal correspondence and litigation documents

Maintain and process reimbursements and expense reports

Handle incoming communications and scheduling requests professionally

E-file documents in both State and Federal courts

Manage legal documents and case files using SharePoint and other systems

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion
Qualifications:
-
Proven experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in commercial litigation

Proficient in State and Federal e-filing procedures

Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and SharePoint

Experience with billing and legal time entry systems

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Highly organized, with strong attention to detail
