Globaltech, Inc. is a design-build company of engineers and contractors that serves primarily municipal water and wastewater utilities. We are currently seeking dynamic, team-oriented individual to play key roles in our growing South Florida firm. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Engineering Manager with experience in the water and wastewater utility sector to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare complex engineering deliverables for multiple projects
- Conduct research to develop equipment and material recommendations
- Manage data and perform complex engineering calculations
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines
- Lead engineering team, coordinate multiple discipline activities, and serve as the responsible charge for a project
- Identify key client interests and drivers for moderately complex projects
- Communicate client concerns to project team members and develop solutions
- Provide support for business development or pursuit activities
- Provide technical leadership for complex water and wastewater treatment projects
- Drive solutions to achieve project goals
- Manage lower level engineers, including work assignments, mentoring, performance managements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is required.
- A Masters degree (e.g., M.S. in Environmental Engineering or Engineering Management) preferred
- Florida P.E. License required
- 815+ years of progressive experience in water/wastewater engineering.
- At least 35 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage projects
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and client relations
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinking and decision-making ability
- Experience in public speaking and presenting to city councils or regulatory bodies
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (now or in the future)
