Job DescriptionAdelphi is seeking a Phlebotomist to provide services at a correctional facility in Tallahassee, Florida. The ideal candidate will provide phlebotomy services at the facility while ensuring compliance with established regulations and institutional standards.

Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Phlebotomist program.
• 6 months documented experience as a phlebotomist.
• CPR/AED certified
Responsibilities:
• Maintenance of a laboratory waiting list and place inmate on call out as needed.
• Perform venipuncture from patients for analysis or other medical purposes when necessary.
• Collect and process urinalysis.
• Daily maintenance of laboratory equipment, and advise when equipment requires professional maintenance or repair.
• Biological specimen preparation and packaging for shipment to contract laboratories.
• Maintenance of laboratory logs and other records as necessary for complying with CLIA guidelines.
• Maintain supplies to perform phlebotomy services, and advise when supplies need to be ordered.
• Perform duties within the scope of the current licensure.
