Job DescriptionAbout the Role:
A well-established law firm in Downtown Orlando is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant or Paralegal with at least 2 years of litigation experience. Whether your background is in defense or plaintiff work, we're looking for someone eager to grow within a collaborative and supportive legal team.
Practice Areas Include:
-Personal Injury
-Civil Litigation
-Insurance Defense
-Limited Plaintiff Work
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist attorneys with case preparation from inception through trial
-Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
-Coordinate discovery and manage case files
-Schedule depositions, hearings, and court dates
-Maintain communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Qualifications:
-Minimum 2 years of litigation experience (defense or plaintiff)
-Strong organizational and multitasking skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication
-Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
-Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow within the firm
Schedule & Work Environment:
-Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
-Work Setting: In-office only (no remote work)
-Interview Process: 1st round Virtual, 2nd interview in person
