Mobile Staff Solutions is now hiring for a Powder Coat Specialist in the Lakeland area! This position is temporary to permanent.
Responsibilities
Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted.
- Operate powder coat equipment efficiently to produce a high-quality finish on industrial racking components.
- Mix and apply paint, ensuring consistency and quality control.
- Monitor equipment for maintenance needs, ensuring optimal performance.
- Ensure paint guns, hoppers, and related equipment are cleaned and maintained, ensuring longevity and consistent quality.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, ensuring a safe workspace.
- Perform routine quality checks, ensuring the final product meets quality standards.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely and efficient workflow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the paint booth and related areas.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in powder coating or industrial painting, preferably in the racking sector.
- Familiarity with paint composition, paint mixing, and application techniques.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring consistent, high-quality finishes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 55 pounds.
- Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
