BASIC SUMMARY:
Administer professional massage and body treatments to clients/ guests. Thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities, possess a general understanding of body treatments and be willing to train in our spa’s specific massage and body treatment offerings. Possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our guests. Hold and maintain a current state license. Weekend availability required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma required.
- 2 years’ experience in the hospitality industry preferred.
- Valid Florida Massage Therapist License; responsible for maintaining all required licenses and certifications during employment.
- Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to complete forms/reports as required, effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and other associates of the organization.
- Solve practical problems. Deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Listen effectively and to speak English clearly over the telephone and in person.
- Work in a team environment.
- Work in a fast-paced environment.
- Achieve positive guest relations and maximize guest satisfaction.
- Work without constant direct supervision.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS – ABILITY TO:
- Grasp, lift, push/pull, carry or transport up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to push/pull wheeled carts weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Stand for length of scheduled shift.
- Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach with hands and arms.
- Perceive the nature of sounds at a normal speaking level and make fine discriminations in sound.
- Have visual acuity to determine accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
- Express and exchange ideas by means of the spoken word accurately, loudly, and quickly.
- Withstand a moderate noise level.
