Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Candidate shall work on various aspects of civil engineering design, plan preparation, permitting and construction oversight while working in a project team environment.
- Planning, design, and construction management of infrastructure projects focusing on water and wastewater projects but could include other infrastructure projects. Projects may include the following: Wastewater Conveyance and Pump Stations; Water Supply; Water Distribution and Storage; Master planning services including hydraulic modeling, and more.
- Candidate would contribute to projects including collecting existing utility data; performing modeling and simulation; site grading; water distribution system; sanitary sewer collection system; drainage analysis; roadway alignment; pavement marking; signage; and erosion control.
- Prepare project design drawings utilizing AutoCAD and other design software is a plus.
- Develop project specific detail drawings.
- Calculate project construction quantity estimates.
- Preparation of technical specifications, cost estimates, reports, schedules, and other related tasks.
- Coordinate with team members and client representatives.
- Periodic travel to project sites for field investigation and or construction support.
- Project outlines, project initiation, project schedules, project executions, and project closeout.
- Interface with multi-disciplinary design teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
- E.I.T./F.E. Certification is a must
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- 10+ years of relevant experience is preferred but less experienced candidates will be considered.
- Experience on utility, drainage, and roadway projects.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
- Excellent technical writing skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on several projects and assist in meeting deliverable requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Ability to commute to construction sites (when necessary).
- Valid Driver’s License
