Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders involved in multi-family, commercial, mid-rise, high-rise, and ground-up construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of construction sites
- Coordinate and supervise construction activities and labor forces
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Maintain project schedules and budgets
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process
- Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry
- Strong background in multi-family, commercial, mid-rise, high-rise, and ground-up construction
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and building codes
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
