Job Description

The Parts Associate II is responsible for sales and service duties of the Parts department. This position assists technicians and customers with forklift parts information, quotes, and orders. This position works closely with Lift Power technicians and customers.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform warehouse duties including shipping, receiving, stocking, loading and unloading trucks
  • Handle technician calls, walk up inquiries, email requests and inquiries
  • Follow safety and warehouse policies and protocols
  • Provide sales and service to customers and technicians by handling phone calls, emails and walk in inquires and requests
  • Provide quotes and place parts orders for customers and technicians
  • Assist technicians and customers by locating and pulling parts and resolving other inquiries or requests
  • Deliver products to customer sites, as needed
  • Check in cores and initiate returns to the correct vendor
  • Locate service manuals for technicians and customers
  • Assist with annual inventory, stock orders, and consignment inventory
  • Check in received parts and ship requested parts to the appropriate location
  • Process Vendor Invoicing and posting any Freight to workorders associated
  • Maintain Doc center when needed
  • View back-order file and order as needed
  • Invoice orders signed off on and delivered
  • Maintain WIP
  • Generate manufactures returns for all parts not needed

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • Microsoft Office applications experience preferred
  • Mechanical ability preferred
  • Forklift experience preferred

  • Organization & Time Management – ability to work independently with minimal supervision in planning and organizing schedule to complete actions within established deadlines; ability to handle multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
  • Systems & Software – proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications
