Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a high school located in Pompano Beach, FL. This contract role spans the entire school year and involves working onsite with a caseload primarily consisting of students from kindergarten through 6th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students K-6
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each student
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Speech Language Pathologist License is required
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage caseload effectively and maintain detailed records
