Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist at Boynton Beach, FL! This is a 5 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.
Role: Phlebotomist
Location: Boynton Beach, FL 33437
Shift Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM (EST) +
- Rotating Weekends
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Highlights: $17-19.75/hour (Based on years of experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care & Phlebotomy
- Perform venipuncture and capillary collections, including pediatric and geriatric patients
- Prepare, label, and process specimens for laboratory testing
- Explain procedures clearly and ensure patient comfort and confidence
- Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collections following established protocols
Operational & Administrative Duties
- Perform daily work accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor
- Maintain complete and accurate records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and confidentiality standards
- Maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment
- Promote a positive image of Quest Diagnostics to patients, clients, and staff
Job Requirements
- Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections
- Flexible availability, including rotating weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (Required)
Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
