What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students across assigned schools
- Participate in meetings including IEPs, multidisciplinary team meetings, and educational planning sessions
- Provide psychological testing and diagnostic assessments for various student needs
- Deliver counseling services through individual and group sessions via remote platforms
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams remotely
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies to optimize outcomes
- Provide crisis intervention and mental health support as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations
- Serve up to 3 schools within the district
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida Psychology Licensure through the Department of Health (DOH) (required)
- Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and evidence-based interventions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Knowledge of special education laws and procedures
- Proficiency with remote technology platforms and virtual service delivery
