CY Gallery Specialist
CY is seeking a part time, highly motivated and detail-oriented Gallery Specialist to join our Miami Gallery. This is a unique, entry-level opportunity for someone passionate about design, marketing, and sales, ideally with experience or interest in the art or high-end furniture industry. You’ll play a vital role in both the daily operations of the gallery and its strategic growth, acting as a key support for our team and a forward-facing representative for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Support digital and traditional marketing efforts including email campaigns, social media, and event promotions.
• Contribute to sales outreach and maintain ongoing client relationships.
• Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and following up on leads.
• Demonstrate ability to grow sales and develop business through strong client relationships
• Build long-term relationships with clients, artists, designers, and industry professionals.
• Assist in maintaining a professional and engaging gallery experience for all visitors.
• Attend art and design events, openings, and exhibitions to build industry connections.
• Support PR efforts and assist in developing strategic partnerships.
• Coordinate schedules, appointments, and calendars for gallery events and meetings.
• Provide administrative support to the Director and senior team, including document preparation and reporting.
• Assist with bookkeeping, invoice processing, and payment tracking using tools such as QuickBooks.
• Support logistics for gallery openings, private appointments, and off-site events.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system.
• Assist with client and artist database management and reporting
Qualifications
• 1–3 years of experience in marketing, sales, or gallery administration (preferably in the art, furniture, or luxury sector).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Self-starter with a proactive and collaborative approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; experience with QuickBooks and CRM software is a plus.
• Passion for art, design, and luxury craftsmanship.
• Ability to prioritize, learn quickly and develop in a fast moving, pressurized, international environment
