Litigation Paralegal – Full-Time
Aligned Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to support our dynamic litigation team. This full-time position requires a strong foundation in both state and federal court litigation, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing case preparation, discovery, client communications, and various administrative responsibilities to ensure efficient practice operations.
Key Responsibilities
Case Management

Conduct fact investigations, witness interviews, and prepare case chronologies and strategy support materials.

Draft, proofread, and electronically file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence.

Support trial and hearing preparation, including the creation of demonstrative exhibits, trial binders, and presentation materials.

Schedule and coordinate court dates, depositions, mediations, and client meetings.

Conduct legal research and organize case law using databases such as Westlaw.
Client & External Communications

Professionally communicate with clients, opposing counsel, vendors (e.g., court reporters, process servers), and court personnel.

Handle all client matters with discretion, sensitivity, and confidentiality.

Draft initial case background memoranda for new client matters.
Attorney Support

Maintain attorneys' calendars and manage court-imposed deadlines.

Assist with scheduling client appointments and court appearances.

Organize and maintain accurate physical and electronic case files.
Qualifications

3–5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.

Proficiency with state and federal court rules and electronic filing systems.

Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and litigation processes.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.

Paralegal certification or equivalent legal education is a plus.

Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
