Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 educational institution in Lehigh Acres, FL, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech therapy services for the upcoming school year. This contracted position offers the opportunity to work closely with students across all grade levels to support their communication development and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students unique needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress reporting.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in speech-language pathology and child development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff.
  • Ability to manage caseload efficiently and maintain thorough documentation.
