Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role for a Direct Support Professional at Beautiful Life Care & Services. The Direct Support Professional will be responsible for providing human services, supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, conducting training sessions, and utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills. These individuals specifically want to be taken into the community- reliable transportation being required. Shifts are part time and flexible.

Day, Nights, & Weekends.

Qualifications

Experience in Human Services and Intellectual Disabilities support
Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities
Training experience in similar roles
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting
Empathy and patience when working with individuals with disabilities
Certification or degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or related field (APD Training ***)
One-year hands on care experience required
Federal / Local BG Check
Valid Driver License
