What You'll Do:
- Assist patients under the supervision of Occupational Therapists by implementing care plans
- Instruct patients in the use of adaptive technology and equipment
- Advise families on care needs in accordance with legal and clinical standards
- Conduct home visits to demonstrate functional skills, mobility, and home safety
- Coordinate therapeutic activities to improve physical, mental, and social functioning
- Support overall goals of the therapy team and contribute to each resident’s quality of life
What You'll Need:
- Must be licensed and registered to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of Florida (required)
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program or equivalent (required)
