Description:
The Director of IT Technology Services will lead and oversee all aspects of Envera's IT infrastructure, focusing on scalability, resiliency, cybersecurity, and governance. This role sets the strategic direction for infrastructure and security, disaster recovery planning, and IT service efficiency. The director must bring deep expertise in AWS enterprise architectures, regulatory compliance, and leading technical teams in cloud-first environments.
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Lead and manage enterprise-wide AWS cloud infrastructure, including networking, compute, storage, and monitoring.
- Operate based on IT best practices governance, compliance frameworks, and enforce security best practices.
- Develop and maintain M&A IT evaluation frameworks for cloud infrastructure integration, migration, and scalability.
- Create and oversee business continuity, high-availability (HA), and disaster recovery (DR) plans.
- Monitor cloud operations for performance, cost optimization, and SLA compliance.
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives including IAM governance, role-based access control, and advanced monitoring.
- Mentor and manage IT infrastructure engineers, fostering a high-performing and security-driven culture.
- Collaborate with departments on security/privacy policies and enforce data classification, encryption standards, and access logging at all layers.
- Drive automation strategies with IaC and CI/CD pipelines for IT operations.
- Evaluate emerging tools (AI/LLMs, IoT, field apps) and pilot solutions that enhance efficiency and client experience.
- Ensure system reliability (≥99.5% uptime), disaster recovery, and cybersecurity compliance.
- Build, Test and Deploy automation and AI/ML models to enhance operational efficiency and predictive decision-making.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- 7+ years in software support and management, systems architecture, or IT leadership
- 3-4+ years leading strategic technology initiatives or teams
- Experience managing cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and compliance
- Experience building and leading automation, AI/ML, or analytics projects
- Experience with Physical Security infrastructure, hardware and software
- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, PMP, or CSM are a plus
- Experience in high-growth or service-based organizations strongly preferred
- Experience in a for-profit, fast-paced technology environment is ideal
Education/Experience:
- Enterprise architecture, cloud environments (AWS/Azure), and DevOps best practices
- AI/ML models and automation tooling preferred
- Familiarity with the construction-tech or Security field-service industry is a bonus
- 10+ years in IT infrastructure with 5+ years in AWS cloud management.
- Previous experience building IT platforms in regulated/compliance-heavy industries (security, healthcare, finance).
