We’re looking for a proactive and detail focused Lead HSE Engineer to join an Energy and Sustainability Solutions team and support health, safety, and environmental programs across multiple locations. This role sits within an HSE Center of Excellence and plays a key part in keeping people safe, programs compliant, and processes continuously improving.
This is a hands on role for someone who understands HSE principles and enjoys working with teams to turn policies into real world safety practices.
What you’ll do
- Support the development, rollout, and monitoring of HSE policies, procedures, and systems
- Conduct or support risk assessments, incident investigations, safety audits, and compliance inspections
- Help prepare and maintain HSE training materials and documentation
- Keep accurate HSE records and reports that meet internal and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with cross functional teams to promote a strong safety culture
- Track performance metrics and support corrective and preventive actions
- Manage and update documentation using SharePoint and other digital tools
- Use Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook for reporting, analysis, and presentations
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field, or 3 plus years of relevant HSE experience
- Experience in industrial, construction, or manufacturing environments preferred
- Familiarity with HSE management systems and regulations such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience using SharePoint for document control and collaboration
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well across teams
- Organized, detail oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
