Job DescriptionJob Title: Quality Assurance Technician

Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all finished products and shipped goods meet the highest quality standards. You will perform daily quality assurance checks, manage product retainers, and verify production logs. You will also play a role in establishing quality standards and maintaining compliance with standard operating procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily QA checks on finished products and shipped goods.
  • Pull or ensure samples are obtained for required testing.
  • Manage product retainers and verify completeness of daily production logs.
  • Ensure all work is performed within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and cGMP.
  • Assist in the establishment of quality standards.
  • Calibrate scales and perform weight checks every 30 minutes and X-Ray checks every hour.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in quality assurance, preferably in Food and Beverage.
  • Familiarity with Batch Records and documentation.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
  • Manual dexterity for operating machinery and computers.
  • Working knowledge of PC, Microsoft Office, and Internet.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
