We are hiring an experienced Tool Grinder to join our team on 1st shift. This is a specialized, high‑skill role—not basic drill sharpening or general deburring work. We need someone who has spent years mastering precision tool grinding and understands how tools perform when used in lathes.

About the Role
This position involves precision grinding, shaping, and finishing of high‑quality tools used throughout our equipment. You will collaborate with several departments to ensure the shop receives accurate, reliable tooling that supports production efficiency.
This is not mold making or entry‑level sharpening. We are looking for a true tool‑grinding professional.
Responsibilities
- Grind, shape, sharpen, and finish tools to exact specifications
- Perform accurate and consistent deburring
- Work closely with internal departments to supply high‑quality tooling
- Apply deep knowledge of tool geometry and lathe tool performance
- Maintain accuracy, safety, and quality standards
Qualifications
Required:
- Several years of hands‑on tool grinding experience
- Experience in tool making
- Strong understanding of how tools interact with lathes
- High attention to detail and precision
Preferred:
- Advanced experience with lathe tooling and tool geometry

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clearwater, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
