Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a supportive K-12 school district located in North Port, FL. This contract role spans the entire school year and offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on student success and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to K-12 students.
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to ensure quality service delivery.
- Manage and maintain accurate documentation and billing in accordance with client requirements.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and district initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Experience delivering speech therapy services in educational settings, preferably K-12.
- Ability to supervise SLPAs effectively.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with school-based billing and procedural requirements.
