We are seeking a reliable and skilled Landscape Irrigation Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial landscapes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with irrigation systems, a strong understanding of water conservation techniques, and a passion for maintaining beautiful landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:

Installation: Install irrigation systems including sprinklers, drip systems, valves, controllers, and backflow preventers. Ensure systems are placed and designed to optimize water usage.

Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance of irrigation systems, ensuring systems are operating efficiently. Troubleshoot and repair faulty systems, including replacing damaged sprinkler heads, pipes, and controllers.

Repairs: Diagnose and repair irrigation issues, including broken lines, faulty timers, pressure problems, and malfunctioning sprinkler heads.

Water Conservation: Ensure systems are calibrated for optimal water efficiency, promote water-saving techniques, and implement solutions to reduce water usage when necessary.

System Upgrades: Recommend and install system upgrades to improve irrigation efficiency, such as weather-based controllers and sensors.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.

Safety: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain and operate equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in landscape irrigation or related field.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of irrigation system design, installation, and troubleshooting, including drip and sprinkler systems. Familiarity with controllers, backflow prevention, and water flow regulation is a plus.

Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve system issues efficiently.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds, work in various weather conditions, and perform physical tasks related to irrigation installation and maintenance.

Customer Service: Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset to build positive client relationships.
