Job Summary:
TESS is an industry leader servicing the Mega Yacht Industry. We are seeking Automation Technicians to repair and maintain the computer-controlled systems used within marine industry to reduce human intervention and maximize efficiency.
The position will be Monday through Friday and is a full-time position, with benefits such as a flexible schedule, health benefits and vacation time.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Designing and installing electrical control systems.
- Programming programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Troubleshooting electrical problems in automated systems.
- Maintaining and repairing electrical equipment: Electrical engineers maintain, and repair electrical equipment used in automation systems.
- Conducting electrical safety inspections.

- Knowledge of Marine Engineering
- Knowledge of Codesys
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Automation Systems or in a related field of study.
Minimum of 5 years related working experience required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
