A full-time School Psychologist position is available at a school in Vero Beach, FL. This contract role offers a standard work schedule of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with some flexibility based on school needs. Caseload assignments will vary according to the candidates experience and preferences, allowing for a tailored workload that supports both professional growth and effective student service.
Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, interpreting testing results, collaborating with educators and parents, and developing individualized education plans (IEPs). The successful candidate will provide consultative services to support student academic and social-emotional development, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure prehensive care and intervention.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Florida
- Experience conducting assessments and developing IEPs within school settings
- Strong interpersonal and munication skills to collaborate with families, teachers, and administrators
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and prioritize tasks
