Qualifications
- National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) – Certified Personal Trainer
- American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) – Certified Personal Trainer
- American Council on Exercise (ACE) – Personal Trainer Certification
- National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) – Certified Personal Trainer
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
- Current CPR/AED Certification
- Participation in continuing education programs

Key Responsibilities
- Design safe and effective fitness programs
- Guide members through initial and progressive training sessions
- Ensure proper, current, and safe procedures are used during instruction
- Inspect all equipment and areas for cleanliness and safety
- Perform light custodial duties, including wiping down equipment before and after use
- Enforce all rules and regulations politely and professionally
- Incorporate safe work practices in all job performance
- Schedule ongoing training sessions and maximize personal book of business
- Work closely with Fitness Management
Education Level
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of personal training experience
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Daily physical effort includes lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing and walking
Work Environment
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts
- Extended workdays, including weekends and holidays, may be required to support business needs
Compensation:
$15/hour base pay + $31.60/hour commission
