Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in an acute healthcare setting. The RRT will play a vital role in assessing, treating, and monitoring patients with cardiopulmonary conditions, including those requiring invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation. This position operates in compliance with departmental protocols, professional standards, and applicable state regulations.
Required Qualifications

Associate Degree or completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program

Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/RCP) credential
-
Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills

Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and variable schedules
Required Certifications
-
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Key Responsibilities
-
Perform and document comprehensive respiratory assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure evaluations

Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate patient response to respiratory therapy interventions

Administer respiratory treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy

Assist with the placement and management of artificial airways

Initiate, monitor, and manage invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation

Monitor patient response to therapy and intervene promptly during adverse or emergent situations

Assist with the safe transport of ventilator-dependent patients

Respond to emergency situations, supporting airway management and ventilation during resuscitation events

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
