Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in commercial property repair, remodeling, and restoration. Experience in hospital remodeling and restoration a plus.

Responsibilities
Deep Technical Knowledge of Concrete Restoration
· Familiar with spalling, post-tension repairs, stucco systems, waterproofing, coatings, structural strengthening (e.g., FRP), etc.
· Can interpret structural engineer reports and scopes.
Hands-On Field Experience
· Former superintendent = understands field conditions, worker challenges, and real-time problem solving.
· Knows how long tasks should take and when something’s “off.”
· Strong Understanding of South Florida Building Codes
· Especially knowledgeable about 40-year/50-year recertification, Miami-Dade County, and hurricane zone requirements.
Excellent Communication Skills
· Effectively communicate with owners, engineers, condo boards, field crews, and inspectors.
· Especially important in South Florida where many projects involve occupied condos and demanding clients.
Detail-Oriented and Organized
· Tracks submittals, RFIs, inspections, punch lists, and project documentation.
· Understands importance of documentation for lien releases, change orders, and inspections.
Leadership and Crew Management
· Knowing how to motivate crews, manage subs, and maintain site morale — a big advantage coming from the field.
Budget and Schedule Management
· Able to manage a tight budget and timeline while coordinating multiple trades and maintaining safety and quality.
Problem-Solving Under Pressure
· Can anticipate and resolve issues like access challenges, product delays, weather impacts (e.g., hurricane season), and hidden conditions (e.g., corroded rebar).
Safety-Focused
· Deep awareness of job site safety, OSHA standards, swing stage and scaffold protocols — especially critical in high-rise restoration.
Client-Facing Professionalism
· Able to handle difficult clients, present weekly updates, attend board meetings, and maintain trust — essential in condo-heavy markets like South Florida.
Skills:
· Complete understanding of the construction industry

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering,
business administration, or related field.
· Certification as WRT, Mold Remediator, ICRA, etc. a plus
· Must have a vehicle and valid driver’s license
· Basic accounting or finance knowledge
· Basic knowledge of ERP systems and very comfortable with
technology
· Demonstrated problem solving skills by using persistence
and ability to overcome obstacles
· Proficiency with MS Office, specifically excel
· Great written and verbal communicator
· Fast-paced personality
