We are currently seeking a professional, patient, and empathetic Back Office Medical Assistant to join our team! Job requires travel between 2 locations (locally). The ideal candidate will assist Physicians and the clinical staff in the delivery of healthcare by performing a variety of medical and office related tasks in the Back and Front Office.
Core Job Duties (but not limited to):
- Prepare patients for office visits/procedures
- Note brief history and the reason for the visit in the patient’s chart
- Perform and record accurate vital signs data
- Assist providers with examinations and procedures as instructed
- Assist providers with injections as ordered
- Ensure patient information is correct
- Triage patient phone calls
Requirements:
- Strong written and communication skills
- Must have experience working in a Medical Assistant position or directly related field, and at least 1 year working in the Back office
- Proficiency with EMR system and excellent computer skills
- Is an effective team player who contributes valuable ideas and feedback and can be counted on to meet commitments
- Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication that is clear, well-organized, and understanding of audience needs
- Bilingual (English required; Spanish proficiency strongly preferred)
