Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst with deep expertise in Power BI and a strong background in the aviation aftermarket, particularly in Used Serviceable Material (USM). This role will directly support the Vice President & General Manager of WASI and collaborate with multiple departments to drive strategic insights, operational efficiency, and business intelligence across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports to support executive decision-making.
- Develop, build, and maintain a suite of key operational reports and other means of data extraction to measure data accuracy and performance and to help drive the business forward through business intelligence analysis.
- Assist with the maintenance of the corporate ERP, line-of-business systems and database architectures which require interrogation, including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Salesforce/Force.com databases.
- Produce data products and visualizations that support day-to-day operations across departments including Operations, Repair Management, and Sales.
- Analyze complex datasets related to USM inventory, sales, procurement, and operational performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Monitor KPIs and create visualizations that highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Build Scorecards to measure Vendor, Customer, and internal performance.
- Support forecasting, pricing analysis, and market intelligence initiatives.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems and reports.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Prepare data extracts and data cleanup for system migrations, upgrades and integrations.

- Identify, analyze, diagnose research, and resolve problems for individuals and groups in an efficient manner, recognizing the proper course of action to take, preparing recommendations, communicating and escalating severe issues as appropriate.
- Provide line-of-business application support, including responding to help desk tickets, telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support ensuring timely feedback and closure.
- Liaise with line-of-business application users and vendors to provide support and resolve issues.
- Prepare recommendation(s) and provide project management for successful implementation of relevant technology, business process modifications and/or enhancements.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Experience in supporting executive leadership with strategic data insights Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Aviation Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the aviation aftermarket.
- Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working with ERP systems and aviation-specific databases is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience with databases and report writing.
- Familiarity with aviation parts catalogs, teardown data, and lifecycle analysis.
- Experience with Quantum ERP system.
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other data tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
- Understanding and development of APIs and Web Services for data and system integration.
- Strong understanding of data validation, analysis, problem solving and error checking techniques.
- Strong aptitude for databases and SQL statements required, including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle databases, SQL Server Management Studio, SSRS/SSIS/SSAS, stored procedures, SQL developer, PL/SQL stored procedures, and packages.
- Good working knowledge reporting tools, such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI Pro, Crystal Reports, and Business Objects Web Intelligence,.
- Professional appearance and behavior required including, but not limited to, punctuality, positive attitude, and reliability.
- Excellent communication and written skills are vital, and should be as comfortable with people as with systems and technology.
- Must be able to work well with others in a team as well as independently; collaboration skills are vital.
- Able to work effectively at all levels of the organization with ability to convey a correct sense of urgency based on customer or business impact.
- High level of accountability and can instill a sense of credibility when speaking with customers.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be a quick learner and adaptable to change in process or required activities.
Travel/Misc.:
- Occasional travel may be required to other Willis’s business unit sites.
