Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathologists to provide comprehensive services within a K-12 educational setting in Fort Pierce, FL. This full-time contract opportunity spans the 2023-2024 school year, starting ASAP through May 28, 2026. Four qualified SLPs are needed to support a diverse student population across elementary to high school grades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student educational goals
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-age children in a K-12 setting
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and therapeutic interventions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and healthcare professionals
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
