Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a middle school in Bradenton, FL, within the School District of Manatee County. This role supports approximately 60 students, including those in a self-contained/cluster program for Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD). The school environment features a recently rebuilt facility with modern amenities and a dedicated office space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to middle school students with diverse communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to support student progress.
  • Participate in team meetings and maintain accurate documentation of services.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 60 students, including those in specialized programs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Holding or pursuing a Florida SLP license; Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply.
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience working in school settings is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Location: Bradenton, FL (on-site)

Contract Duration: ASAP start through May 29, 2026
